A Logo Won’t Save Your Company
As a brand consultant, it pains me to say this:
Having a good logo won’t get affect your bottomline directly.
If you rebrand, it’s not going to make your product better.
On the onset, it will show that you value design and care about the small things.
And that’s a good thing.
Redesigning your logo is not supposed to be an afterthought. It’s the first step in our company’s pivot.
There’s still more work to be done.
If you’re thinking about redesigning your logo because you feel like the current one “looks old”, I would suggest you re-think why you’re doing it
Ask yourself these questions:
1. After the redesign, will I be changing the company’s direction?
2. After the redesign, is the offer different?
If the answer to these questions is a “no”, it would be best to just retain the old logo and instead work on your branding.
